Split one image into 2–20 seamless carousel slides. Preview square or portrait slides and download a numbered ZIP, free and without logging in.
How it works
- Choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP image from your device (up to 20 MB and 32 megapixels).
- Choose 2–20 slides and square (1080 × 1080) or portrait (1080 × 1350). Fill crops the panorama to fit; Fit keeps the full image with white space.
- Create the slides, check each preview, then download all slides as a ZIP or save them individually.
- Extract the ZIP and select the numbered slides in order when creating your Instagram carousel. Publishing limits can vary by app and scheduling service.
Tips for a better post
- Start with a wide panorama. For five square slides, a 5400 × 1080 source gives the cleanest result without upscaling.
- Keep text and faces away from slide boundaries. Check the first slide as a standalone cover.
- Use the same slide ratio throughout. Check the exported crop before publishing; portrait photos may lose substantial content in Fill mode.
Frequently asked questions
Can I split an image into 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 slides?
Yes. Choose any whole number from 2 to 20. Each export contains numbered, equally sized slides in left-to-right order.
Are my images uploaded or saved on your servers?
No. Splitting, cropping, and ZIP creation happen in your browser. Images and filenames are not sent to our servers. We only count tool actions, such as creating or downloading a set.
What is the difference between Fill and Fit?
Fill covers the full carousel and crops the excess from the center. Fit preserves the entire image and adds white space where needed. Neither option stretches the image.
Does this tool publish to Instagram?
No. Download your slides, then upload them in order using Instagram or your scheduling tool. No social account connection is required here.
Are there watermarks or a signup requirement?
No. The splitter is free, requires no login, and adds no watermark. It exports JPG slides; transparent areas become white.

Frequently asked questions
Is the AI caption generator free?
Yes, within a limited daily allowance: up to 5 generation attempts per network and 100 across the site each day. Limits reset at 00:00 UTC. Failed attempts may count. Manual writing and previews remain available when AI is at capacity.
Are my captions stored?
Manual text stays in your browser tab. When you click Generate, your topic, selected platform, and tone are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI. Our tools do not save the topic or generated caption. Do not include sensitive information in AI prompts.
Are the character counts and previews exact?
These are planning guides, not guarantees of platform acceptance or exact feed layouts. X uses weighted counting, including shortened URLs and emoji. Other counts use UTF-16 units conservatively. Platform rules, native apps, API publishing, and account types can differ; confirm in your publishing app.
Which platforms can I preview?
Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and Pinterest. The same draft is shown across all six so you can spot long captions and weak opening lines quickly. AI creates one draft for your selected platform at a time.
What usage information can admins see?
Daily totals for tool visits, splits, download actions, preview sessions, copies, and AI attempts, successes, and errors. Admin reports contain no images, filenames, captions, prompts, raw IP addresses, or individual browsing histories.
Privacy and usage
Images and manual captions stay in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded when splitting or previewing. AI sends only your topic, platform, and tone for processing by Cloudflare Workers AI; we do not save prompts or generated captions. We keep aggregate usage counts and daily rotating, hashed network identifiers for abuse prevention, cleared daily. Closing or clearing the tool removes its working content; downloaded files remain on your device.
